Uninstall Guide

We would love you to stay, but removing Charge Master should always be simple. Choose any of the methods below — each one fully removes the app, its charging service, its notifications and its locally stored data. Menu names can differ slightly between Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Pixel and other Android skins.

Method 1 — From the home screen

  1. 1Unlock your device and find the Charge Master icon on your home screen or in the app drawer.
  2. 2Press and hold the icon until a small menu or the drag bar appears.
  3. 3Drag the icon to Uninstall, or tap Uninstall in the pop-up menu.
  4. 4Confirm by tapping OK. The app is removed within a few seconds.

Method 2 — From Google Play

  1. 1Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. 2Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then Manage apps & device.
  3. 3Open the Manage tab and find Charge Master in the list.
  4. 4Tap the app name, then tap Uninstall and confirm.

Method 3 — From Android Settings

  1. 1Open Settings → Apps (or Apps & notifications → See all apps).
  2. 2Scroll to Charge Master and tap it.
  3. 3Tap Storage & cache → Clear storage, then go back.
  4. 4Tap Uninstall and confirm with OK.

If the Uninstall button is greyed out

Some Android versions block uninstalling an app that still holds a special access permission. Turn these off first:

  • Settings → Apps → Special app access → Display over other apps → Charge Master → turn off.
  • Settings → Apps → Special app access → Device admin apps / Accessibility → disable Charge Master if it is listed.
  • Then repeat Method 3 above; the Uninstall button will be active.

Stop notifications without uninstalling

Open Settings → Notifications → App notifications → Charge Master and switch notifications off. You can also disable the charging screen inside the app under Settings → Charging animation.

Reduce or reset advertising

Go to Settings → Privacy → Ads to delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of personalised advertising. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
